This is a super simple recipe and it's pretty quick to make! Don't worry though, it's still delicious.
Here's what you'll need:
- Chicken steak (Chicken breast or any other sort of chicken filet will do, too)
- All-Purpose Flour
- Salt and Pepper
- Paprika
- Garlic Powder
- Rosemary
- Parsley
- Oregano
Feel free to add any other herbs you want! The second time I made this I think I added basil or sage to it as well. It's really up to your own preferences.
Start by thin, shallow cuts into the chicken steak on both sides. Then rub salt and pepper over the whole thing, making sure to get into the cuts. Separately, pour out enough flour to coat the whole chicken. Mix in a bit of garlic powder, a tablespoon or so of paprika, and as much of all the herbs as you'd like.
Lastly, cover the chicken on both sides with the flour mixture, making sure it breads evenly. Then just throw it on a the stove with a teensy bit of olive oil for a few minutes each side and enjoy!
I served mine with garlic mashed potatoes with chives and a side of lettuce 'cause everyone needs their veggies! (I hate them though, I really do).
Happy Eating!
